2050 - A New World is a policy-making boardgame where players develop strategies to move towards a future where climate change is mitigated. You’ll make tough decisions with limited resources, enact policies to reach your city's 2050 sustainability goals, and allocate local resources. What would you be willing to change for a sustainable, resilient life?

We will play the game online using multiple digital interfaces concurrently to create an interactive environment. Only internet access is required (i.e. no need to create an account to anything). We will begin all in one Zoom call and then break out into separate Zoom rooms (~6-10 people/room), each controlling one city. One of the organisers will moderate the game within the room to answer any questions raised during game play. This is a highly collaborative game which will require input from all members in order to reach the 2050 goals. Once finished, all rooms will reconvene and there will be a brief discussion period.
